So I’m about three weeks into my current cycle and was feeling awesome. I had some really big goals for my lifts and honestly thought this was going to be my best run yet, but everything went south the other day. I ended up tearing a hamstring tendon while squatting. My doctor confirmed the tear and said I’m looking at about eight weeks of physio and recovery before I'm back to normal.

I’m honestly pretty devastated. I’ve been putting so much work into my prep, my diet was on point, and the progress I was seeing before this happened was insane. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out what to do with the cycle and my training.

Part of me thinks I should just pull the plug, drop down to a cruise dose, and wait until I’m 100% healed and back to my old numbers on squats and deadlifts before trying again. The other option is to just keep the cycle going since I’m already three weeks in, but switch my focus to a lighter bodybuilding style split with higher reps - maybe just lean into upper body and bench for a while.

Has anyone else dealt with a mid-cycle injury like this? I’d love to hear how you handled it or what you’d do in my shoes.

man so sorry to hear that. a hammy tear is no joke and the timing absolutely sucks. honestly if it was me i would probably drop to a cruise. no point in blasting gear if you cant go 100% on legs - you'll just end up with a massive upper body and tiny legs lol. heal up first bro

that is gutting man really sorry. i had a pec strain 4 weeks into a cycle last year and i tried to "push through" with just legs and arms. honestly it was a waste of oil. i shoulda just cruised and saved the blast for when i was healthy. listen to your body on this one

8 weeks isnt too bad in the grand scheme of things but it feels like forever when youre mid-cycle. if you stay on maybe just focus on a "maintenance" phase? keep the trt dose and just kill the upper body stuff. hope the recovery goes quick man -

bro i would definitely drop to a cruise. why stress your organs and health with a full cycle if you're limited on what you can actually train? save the stash for when you can actually squat again. the gym isnt going anywhere!

ugh the worst feeling ever. i tore my labrum mid-blast a few years ago. i tried to keep going but mentally it just sucked knowing i couldnt go heavy. i ended up dropping to 150mg/week and just focused on rehab. best decision i made cuz i came back way hungrier

definitely drop to a cruise dose. you dont want to be running stuff like tren or high test if youre just doing "light bodybuilding" work. let the hammy heal properly so it doesnt become a recurring thing. physio is boring but do the work!!

look at the bright side - at least you can still bench? lol but seriously id probably pull the plug on the blast. heal up for 2 months then start fresh. you'll just get frustrated trying to train around a major tear while on a full cycle

man that sucks so bad. personally i’d drop the dose. being on a blast while injured is a recipe for doing something stupid because you "feel" strong but your tendons are literally torn. take the 8 weeks to get your health markers perfect then go again

i’ve been there man... it’s a total mental mindgame. if you keep the cycle going you’re just gonna be tempted to test the hamstring too early. drop to a cruise and let the hgh (if you're on it) help with the healing process. hang in there -

man im so sorry to hear that. literally the worst nightmare when things are finally clicking. if i were you id definitely drop to a cruise dose. no point in blasting and pushing your body with gear when u can't even train legs properly- you'll just end up with some weird imbalances and potentially hurt yourself more tryna compensate. heal up first bro.

8 weeks isnt the end of the world even though it feels like it right now. i had a similar thing with my pec a few years back. i decided to stay on for like 2 weeks then realized i was just wasting my health for no reason since i couldnt go 100%. drop to your trt dose and just focus on the rehab. the gains will come back faster than u think.

honestly that sucks so much. since you're only 3 weeks in i'd just pull the plug and cruise. save the blast for when you can actually smash the big compounds again. if u stay on and just do "upper body" you're gonna be frustrated watching your legs shrink while your bench goes up lol. just get healthy man.

damn dude i feel for u. i'd probably just keep the hgh running if u have it since that helps with the healing process but drop the rest down to a cruise. no reason to stress your organs with a heavy cycle if you're stuck doing physio and light machines for two months. hang in there.

thats brutal. i’ve been there and the mental hit is almost worse than the physical one. if you're enhanced you gotta remember your muscles sometimes get stronger faster than your tendons can handle- might be what happened here. i’d say drop to cruise, focus on being a "bench specialist" for a few weeks, and come back stronger in the summer.
