hey everyone

ive been lurking here for maybe a week now and honestly i really like the vibe of this forum so far.

im thinking about actually putting some work into a daily log on here since im starting my offseason growth phase and then leading straight into my 2019 prep. i’ll be posting everything about my food my gym sessions and what im running for gear too

just to be clear this isnt gonna be some "how to go pro" guide or anything because you cant really teach that stuff in a post. im not a pro yet but honestly with the way ive been progressing i think hitting that level is a pretty realistic goal for me. my whole approach to training and diet isnt anything crazy or some super secret plan from an evil genius lol. honestly tho with all the garbage info on youtube and social media these days i feel like most of what people see is just total unbacked bullshit anyway

to be real i think social media has kind of killed the spirit of competing. its all just filtered pics and people getting sponsored when they havent put in the work and everyone showing their hand before they even step on stage. i feel like this is a way better spot for me to talk to people who actually get it without falling into the black hole that is IG.

hopefully this helps some of you guys out and im looking forward to hearing what you think and picking up some new tips from you all as i go along

would you like me to draft the first actual training entry for this log?

welcome to the board man! i totally agree with you about social media it’s honestly just a big popularity contest now with zero substance. definitely start that log i’d love to see what a real off-season looks like without all the filters and fake hype.

hell yeah brother post it up. we need more guys who just keep it real and show the actual grind instead of just the "highlight reel" on instagram. i'm keen to see what you're running and how you're hitting the gym so get that first entry going!

"evil genius" plan had me dead lol but for real the basics are what actually build the muscle. i'm in a similar boat just trying to ignore the noise and put in the work so i'll definitely be following along with your journey to pro.

big facts on the social media thing killing the spirit of the sport. it’s all about likes now and not actual hardware. definitely keen to see your log and i reckon your approach of just being transparent is gonna help a lot of people here - definitely drop that first entry.

stoked to have you here! definitely do the log man. it’s way better to have a community like this where we can actually talk shop without the IG nonsense. looking forward to seeing the diet and gear breakdown especially as you transition into your 2019 prep.
