I’ve been having a really hard time keeping up with my workouts lately, mostly because I just started a new job that’s super demanding. By the time I actually get home, my motivation is basically non-existent and I just can't find the energy to train.

How do you guys deal with this? I’m curious if anyone has tips for staying consistent when work is draining you dry.

man i feel this in my soul. started a corporate gig last year and it killed my gains for like 3 months straight. the only thing that worked for me was going BEFORE work. if i wait until 5pm its game over and i'm staying on the couch.

honestly sometimes you just gotta lower the bar. if i'm exhausted i tell myself i'll just go for 20 mins. usually once i'm there i do the full workout but getting through the door is the hardest part.

new jobs are the worst for routine!! dont beat yourself up too much. maybe try a 3 day split for a bit until you get settled? better to hit 3 days consistently than aim for 6 and miss them all.

pre-workout and a prayer lol. but seriously - try packing your gym bag and putting it in the car the night before. if i have to go home to change first i'm 100% not leaving the house again.

have you tried working out on your lunch break? i started doing that cuz my office has a small gym nearby and it actually gives me more energy for the afternoon. worth a shot if your boss isnt a micromanager.

literally me right now... starting a new role is draining bc of the "mental" fatigue more than the physical stuff. i usually just drink a double espresso on the drive home so i dont have a choice but to move once i get there haha.
