so i've basically always looked at my weight loss journey like a big experiment i guess-just testing my body to see how far i can actually push it. up until now i never really thought about taking supplements or anything besides my usual protein powder because i figured just cooking at home and eating right should be enough honestly.
but i keep seeing these posts from people getting insane results by using appetite suppressants and stimulants and now im kinda curious. has anyone here actually tried those or maybe some other supplements? would love to hear what your experiences were like or if they're even worth it...
lol same, i’ve mostly stuck to just eating clean and hitting the gym, but i’ve tried a few thermogenics before—honestly they gave me energy more than anything, didn’t magically melt fat
ngl i’ve dabbled in appetite suppressants a bit, but for me it was more about not snacking late than actually losing weight faster. def not a replacement for a solid diet
yeah i’ve seen people rave about them too, but from experience it’s more like a “boost” than a miracle. i’d focus on consistency first, then maybe experiment with safe stuff if you want
i tried one of those pre-workout fat burners for a month lol felt super wired but didn’t notice insane results. maybe worth trying if you’re curious but don’t expect magic
honestly, a lot of the supplement hype is just that—hype. eating right, sleeping enough, and sticking to your plan usually beats any pill or stimulant in the long run
yeah I’ve tried a couple appetite suppressants before… tbh they kinda work but also make you feel wired and cranky lol
ngl most of the “insane results” stuff online is kinda exaggerated. your home-cooked meals + consistency is already doing most of the work
stimulants helped me a bit for energy during workouts, but I wouldn’t rely on them long term
honestly I think supplements can give a tiny boost, but the real results are still food, sleep, and consistency
curious too tho… some people swear by stuff that barely does anything for me. kinda depends on how your body reacts
