I’ve been looking through the JSP 950 guidelines for my application and I seem to meet all the medical requirements for asthma, except for one thing. It says something about oral steroids, and I've actually had two courses of them in the past.

Does anyone know if this is going to be a dealbreaker? I’m worried that having those two courses on my record might keep my application from being successful, even though everything else with my asthma is totally fine and fits the criteria. Just wondering if anyone here has dealt with this or knows how strict they are about it.

two courses doesn’t sound that extreme honestly, a lot of asthma ppl have that

those guidelines always read way harsher than how they’re applied

try not to stress yet - this feels like a gray area not a hard no

two short courses over time feels pretty normal for asthma tbh

they usually look at patterns not one-off treatments
