I’m currently taking 5 mg of nebivolol and 20 mg of olmesartan, but my blood pressure is still sitting around 140/90.

Between those two, which one would be the better choice to increase to get these numbers down?

yeah that’s a tough spot, sometimes just upping one med isn’t enough, docs usually tweak whichever your body tolerates better

personally i’d probably talk to my doc before changing anything, 140/90 is still kinda high but you don’t wanna overshoot

i’ve heard nebivolol can be upped a bit safely, but olmesartan sometimes gives better long-term control depending on your body

also don’t forget lifestyle stuff—salt, stress, sleep can make a huge difference even on meds

sometimes they actually combine a small bump on both instead of going big on one, seems to keep side effects lower

honestly, i’d schedule a quick check-in with your doc, they can figure out which is safer to increase without risking dizziness or weird side effects
