Given all the back-and-forth lately in various source threads about stuff like oil color, oxidation, and why people are getting bad PIP or random fevers and acne, I figured it was time to start a dedicated spot for this. I want to pull together resources and references specifically for Jano testing of AAS.
The goal here is to really dig into what different tests actually show us versus what they don't, and also look at other ways to gauge what's going on - like using HS-CRP bloodwork (fixed the typo there, meant HS-CRP) to track inflammation.
If you see these same arguments or circular discussions popping up in source threads and derailing things, feel free to point people over here. Hopefully, we can turn this into a solid resource that might even get stickied eventually.
finally someone said it. i’m so tired of reading through 50 pages of a source thread just to find people arguing about whether the oil is too yellow or too clear lol. color literally tells you nothing half the time. thanks for putting this together man.
the hs-crp idea is actually genius. i never even thought about using that to track if a specific brew is causing systemic inflammation. i usually just wait to see if i get a fever like an idiot. definitely gonna add that to my next blood panel.
jano is the goat for purity but you're totally right that people over-interpret the results. just because it’s 99% pure doesn't mean the solvents they used aren't trash. would be cool to see some info on what different carrier oils do to the body too.
hopefully this keeps the source threads from being such a mess. i'm sick of seeing "it gave me acne so it must be bunk" - like no bro, your hormones are just fluctuating lol. we definitely need more objective data like what you're proposing here.
big props for making this. i'd love to see a comparison of different testing methods because sometimes it feels like we’re all just guessing. if this gets stickied it’s gonna save a lot of people a lot of headache (and pip).
