How do I actually know if my vial was tested or not?

hey everyone-

im pretty new to all this and just trying to make sure i dont mess anything up. i really like how people on this forum hold these vendors accountable and always talk about how important lab testing is but i'm kinda stuck on one thing. i know the only 100% way to be sure is to just send a sample to the lab myself but that gets expensive fast

its cool that some sellers give credits for testing and post their results on meso or their sites and they seem like they want to put out good stuff. but how am i supposed to actually know that the specific vial in my hand is the same one from the test results they posted?

there isnt a batch number or anything on my vial. i can guess that since i bought it recently and they just posted results a few weeks ago that maybe its from the same batch but honestly that just feels like wishful thinking ya know?

wanted to check and see if i'm missing something obvious here. without some kind of serial number or batch id i dont see how you can ever really match a vial to a specific lab report. i could message the vendor before i buy and ask them but then i'm just back to trusting their word again

so it seems like the safest bet is testing it myself but even that has issues... like if i order 15 vials and they pull them from different batches then testing just one doesnt really prove the other 14 are good unless i test every single one which is crazy.

if theres some standard way of doing this that i dont know about please let me know. i get that this whole thing is risky and im okay with that but i just want to make sure i actually understand how the testing game works or if im just overthinking it

thanks!

welcome to the club man lol. honestly you're hitting on the biggest "secret" in the hobby. unless there is a specific batch code on the label you are basically just trusting that the vendor is consistent. it sucks but thats the game.

your not overthinking it at all. most of us just find a vendor with a long track record of good tests and stick with them. if they start putting out junk the community usually catches it pretty quick and blasts them on here.

honestly the "blind testing" where random guys send stuff in is the only way to be sure. if a vendor has 10 random tests over 6 months and they all pass then your probably safe. one single test doesnt mean much for exactly the reason u said.

lol yeah testing every vial would cost more than the actual cycle! i usually just test one vial from a big stash just for peace of mind. if that one is good i trust the rest of the box came from the same vat.

thats why people get so mad when a vendor "selective samples" by sending the lab their best stuff. you gotta look for the tests done by regular members not the ones the vendor posts themselves.

man if you find a vendor with actual batch numbers and expiry dates that actually mean something let me know! most of these labels are just for show anyway. you just gotta go off the recent reputation of the source.
