I checked the stickies and tried searching but couldn't really find a straight answer on this one.

Does anyone know if there's a way to make sure my primary doctor doesn't see results for labs I pay for myself through Ulta or one of those other sites? I just started 4iu of GH for the first time and I really need to check my igf-1 levels to see if I should adjust my dose. My endocrinologist actually just ordered a hormone panel for my low T, and it would be super convenient to get the igf-1 drawn at the same time.

I just don't want those specific results popping up in my medical records or showing up on my doc's screen. Is there any way to keep my private tests totally separate?

I’ve kept self pay labs totally separate before and my doc never saw them unless I brought it up. Mixing draws always makes me nervous tho lol

From what I understand Ulta stuff doesn’t auto upload anywhere unless you sign releases. I always do a separate visit just to be safe

Yeah getting them drawn together sounds nice but I wouldn’t trust it personally. Too easy for it to end up in the chart accidentally

I’ve been on GH a bit and checking igf privately gave me peace of mind. Worth the extra hassle imo

Following this cause I’ve wondered the same thing. Last thing I want is my endo scrolling through labs and raising an eyebrow 😅
