so im about halfway thru my first ever anavar cycle started at 5mg went up to 10 but had to drop it back down to 5 after my latest inr test results came back. ive been on coumadin for a long time now since i have factor 5 leiden and factor II deficiency basically i get blood clots super easy so i have to take anticoagulants to stay safe. i did a bunch of reading before i started but i guess i missed the part where var interacts with coumadin so much it can push your inr levels into a really dangerous range... honestly i havent seen anyone mention this on the boards so i wanted to post a psa for you guys. please make sure your tracking your inr if your in this boat. aas is already risky enough as it is but u gotta be smart especially if you have health issues or your already on other scripts. stay safe out there

holy crap thanks for posting this! i honestly had no idea var could mess with blood thinners like that. it is so easy to forget how these things interact with actual medication. glad you caught it before anything scary happened- 200lb bench presses arent worth a stroke lol. stay safe man!

damn man thats a serious heads up. factor v is no joke by itself so i'm glad you're actually getting your bloodwork done instead of just winging it like half the guys on here. its crazy how much stuff we have to keep track of just to get a little extra edge. hope your levels stabilize soon!

wow i actually never would have thought of that interaction. thanks for the psa... i feel like most people just think "oh var is mild" and forget it still processes through the liver and messes with clotting factors. definitely a good reminder to always keep the doctor in the loop even when doing the gray market stuff.

glad you're okay bro! that sounds like a close call. i've got a buddy on thinners who was looking into var so im definitely sending him this post. it just goes to show you cant always trust the "standard" advice you see on the forums when you have pre-existing stuff going on. good catch.

thanks for sharing this man... seriously. people rarely talk about the boring medical side of things but this could literally save someone. it sucks you had to drop the dose back down but being alive is definitely more important than getting shredded lol. hope the rest of the cycle goes smooth at 5mg!
