Anyone have a solid NAD+ protocol?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out the best way to run NAD+ and would love to hear what's actually working for you. I'm looking at injectable/subQ specifically, since that seems to be the go-to for recovery and energy in the community lately.

The info out there is all over the place though. I've seen Vigorous Steve suggest a steady 25mg daily for long-term health and performance, but then I've also heard people claiming that much higher doses - like 100mg to 500mg plus - can actually help melt fat by cranking up your metabolism and mitochondrial function.

What are you guys actually pinning? Do you stick to a low daily dose of 20-50mg, or are you doing bigger shots a couple of times a week? Also, is a loading phase even necessary?

I’d love to know if you've noticed any real changes in your energy levels, how fast you bounce back from training, or if it’s actually made a dent in your body comp. Any feedback on bloodwork markers would be great too.

i tried the 100mg subq dose for a few weeks and man the "nausea" hit me like a truck lol. i eventually settled on 50mg daily and that seems to be the sweet spot for energy without feeling like garbage. definitely noticed my recovery from leg days is way faster now though - totally worth it

honestly i think the fat loss claims are a bit hyped up... i didn't really see a change on the scale but my brain fog totally cleared up within like 3 days. i just do 25mg every morning. dont think u need a loading phase just get it in your system and let it work

vig steve is usually spot on with the health stuff so i stick to the lower dose. 500mg sounds like a nightmare to pin honestly - the chest tightness and hot flashes you get from high doses are no joke. start small and see how u feel before you go chasing those huge numbers

been doing 50mg subq before bed and i've been waking up way more refreshed lately. havent seen any crazy bloodwork changes yet but my inflammation feels lower for sure. just watch out for the sting - nad+ is notorious for having a bit of a bite when u inject it haha

  • i actually do 200mg twice a week just for convenience and it works fine for me. didnt notice a "metabolism spike" per se but i definitely have more drive in the gym late in the week. if youre looking for fat loss stick to the cardio and just use this for the energy boost!

i tried 250mg once just to see what the hype was about and i legit thought i was having a heart attack for like 10 minutes lol. the chest pressure is real. i backtracked to 30mg daily and its way more manageable. definitely helps with that mid-afternoon crash though.

just a heads up if u go the subq route- it can leave little itchy bumps if u do too much in one spot. i stick to 25mg-50mg and rotate sites like crazy. noticed a huge improvement in my skin quality actually, which was a weird but cool side effect.
