Hey everyone,
I just started running 2iu of growth last week, taking it every night right before I hit the sack, but it’s been a nightmare for my sleep. I keep waking up in the dead of night and then I’m just tossing and turning for hours trying to get back to sleep. I’m sticking to the usual rules - waiting about two hours after my last meal before pinning - but it's just not working out yet.
Does this eventually get better? Everyone always raves about how amazing the sleep is on GH, so I’m wondering if I just need to give it more time to level out. Is there something I should change, like maybe having 20-30g of carbs right before bed to help, or am I just one of those people who's going to struggle with this?
dude i had the exact same issue when i first started. everyone says it helps you sleep but for some of us it just makes us feel "wired" or gives us weird vivid dreams that wake u up. try switching to morning pins instead- that totally fixed it for me and i still get all the recovery benefits
honestly 2iu isnt a huge dose so your body might just be adjusting to the spike in blood sugar. i wouldnt add more carbs right before bed though because that might make the spike even worse lol. give it another week or two and if it still sucks just move it to the AM
i actually get better results pinning mine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach then doing my cardio. i couldn't sleep worth a damn when i pinned at night either. it definitely gets better once your body gets used to the extra gh but moving the timing is the easiest fix
man the "amazing sleep" usually kicks in after a few weeks once the deep sleep cycles level out. the first week or two can be rocky as hell. maybe try some magnesium before bed? that helped me stay under when i was first starting out on 3iu-
are u sure ur blood sugar isnt dropping? sometimes that "tossing and turning" is actually a bit of hypoglycemia. try a tiny bit of peanut butter or something with a few carbs like u mentioned and see if that keeps u asleep. but yeah morning pins are a lifesaver if night shots keep u up!
