Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice on peptides that might help with female fertility.
My wife is 37 and we're dealing with a bit of a rough patch—we had a miscarriage earlier this year and just finished four unsuccessful rounds of IUI. She actually responded really well to a low dose of Clomid and had 3-5 mature follicles each time, but we just haven't had any luck yet. On the plus side, she’s lost about 35 lbs this year, though her BMI is still around 36. We just started her back on Tirzepatide (5mg/week) to keep that momentum going.
I'm considering adding these to her routine:
Glutathione: 500mg daily
MOTS-C: 10mg, 3x a week
Since I’m not super familiar with the peptide world, I wanted to see if you guys have any specific recommendations for fertility or thoughts on those dosages. Our plan is to likely start the IVF process around March or April, so we want to get her body in the best spot possible before then.
Thanks in advance!
sorry you guys are going through that man, fertility stuff is such a grind mentally. props to her for the weight loss tho that’s huge
i don’t have peptide experience for fertility but just wanted to say respect for being proactive and supporting her through all this
sounds like she’s responding well to clomid at least which feels like a good sign even if the timing hasn’t worked yet
honestly IVF is a beast but getting her health dialed in ahead of time is prob the best move you can make
wishing you both the best with it - that road is rough but you’re definitely not alone in it 💙
Sorry to hear you guys are going through that, it’s rough. Honestly, I don’t have personal experience with MOTS-C, but I’ve read some people find peptides like PT-141 or low-dose kisspeptin helpful for fertility support—but definitely check with a fertility specialist first.
Sounds like she’s made amazing progress with weight loss and response to Clomid—that’s huge. Glutathione at 500mg seems reasonable for antioxidant support, but I’d double-check timing with her doctor since it can interact with IVF protocols.
I know some women use small doses of growth hormone or GH secretagogues to help egg quality, but that’s super individualized. If you’re already on Tirzepatide, make sure the peptide combo won’t mess with insulin/glucose levels.
IVF prep is such a delicate balance—you want everything optimized, but too many compounds at once can make it hard to track what’s actually helping. Maybe start with just Glutathione and see how she responds before adding MOTS-C.
Honestly, just the fact that she’s losing weight, responding to Clomid, and staying consistent with health routines gives you a really strong foundation. Peptides might help a bit, but getting baseline hormones and egg quality optimized with her doc is probably more impactful right now.
