Natural bodybuilding has always been about pushing your muscle and performance as far as they'll go without crossing that line into PEDs. But lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about peptides and I'm not sure where they fit in.
You see stuff like BPC-157, Ipamorelin, and CJC-1295 being sold as "recovery boosters" or "GH optimizers," but do they actually have a place in the natural scene, or is this just a massive gray area?
On one hand, people argue that peptides aren't steroids—they just help with things like collagen production, recovery, and natural GH secretion. But on the flip side, others say that if you're taking anything to alter your hormone levels, even just a little bit, you've officially left the "natural" world.
If a lifter is using peptides to recover faster and hold onto more muscle, but they aren't actually on test or gear, are they still natty? 🤔
I’d love to hear what the community thinks. Should peptides be accepted in natural bodybuilding, or is this just "soft-enhanced" territory?
honestly this is a gray area as hell. I get why people say it’s not “natural” but at the same time it’s not like blasting gear either
feels kinda like the supplement debate all over again… where do you draw the line, caffeine? creatine? peptides? 🤷♂️
ngl if it’s messing with hormones even a little, I kinda feel like it’s not truly natty anymore. but I get why ppl justify it
“soft enhanced” actually sounds pretty accurate lol. not full gear but definitely not just chicken and rice either
end of the day everyone’s gonna define natty differently. I just wish people were more honest about what they’re using instead of playing word games
honestly feels like a gray zone to me. not full enhanced but not 100 percent natty either
i get the argument that peptides aren’t steroids, but if you’re tweaking recovery and hormones it kinda changes the playing field
