I was originally doing 8iu in the morning and saw a bit of a spike in my blood sugar, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle with some Metformin. Since I'm bulking, I've also been using a little Lantus and now Reta to keep things in check.
Well, I decided to switch things up and try 5iu in the morning and another 5iu at night. My morning fasting blood glucose shot up from around 100 to 150 - holy crap.
The weird part is that it stays totally fine throughout the rest of the day, usually sitting between 90 and 110. It's just that morning number that's gone completely sideways.
damn 150 would freak me out too - GH timing can do some weird stuff with morning numbers
splitting doses messed with my FBG way more than once daily, no clue why but ur not alone
mornings are already insulin resistant so adding night GH seems to hit harder
rest of day being fine makes it extra confusing lol bodies are weird
honestly i’d prob go back to what worked, waking up to 150 isn’t a fun way to start the day
yeah mornings can be tricky with GH + insulin stuff, sometimes just adjusting the timing a bit helps a ton
