has anyone here actually tried both tb-500 and tb4 and noticed any real difference between them or are they basically the same thing in a different bottle. i’m trying to figure out if there supposed to have different dosing schedules or if you just run them the same way for healing. i keep seeing conflicting stuff online about which ones better for recovery so i figured id ask if any of you guys have a preference after using both. honestly just dont want to waste money if ones way more effective than the other or if their just the same compound with different names lol.
Honestly they’re basically the same thing but TB4 is the full-length protein and TB-500 is just the "active" fragment. I’ve used both and couldn't tell a difference in how fast my shoulder healed lol. Just buy whichever one is cheaper from a source you trust.
I’ve heard TB-500 is technically more stable but honestly in the real world they work the same. Dosing is usually like 5mg a week split into two pins. I wouldn't overthink it too much- just get one and stay consistent with the injections!
strictly speaking TB4 is the natural version and TB-500 is the synthetic fragment. Some people swear TB4 is better for systemic stuff like heart health or whatever but for joint pain and tendon recovery TB-500 is the go-to. i just stick with 500 bc it’s easier to find in stock.
man i spent hours reading about this too and basically came to the conclusion that they're interchangeable for what we're doing. i ran them the same way - 2mg twice a week - and my bicep tendon felt way better after like a month. dont go crazy trying to find the "perfect" one lol
they're definitely not the same compound technically but for healing they do the same job. TB4 is a bigger molecule so some guys think it doesn't absorb as well but idk if that's actually true. i’ve used both and the results were identical for me. just watch out for the bunk stuff out there.
save your money and just get the TB-500. i’ve tried both and noticed zero difference in recovery speed. the "TB4 is better" talk is usually just marketing to get you to pay more for a "full" protein. standard 2.5mg twice a week is plenty for most injuries - good luck man!
