Hey guys, I've been running Test C at 100mg twice a week. Every so often, I end up coughing right after the injection and getting this minor chest pain that eventually goes away on its own. Has anyone else dealt with this, and is it actually normal?
To make things weirder, I pinned tonight and my lips started tingling almost immediately. It’s a first for me so I'm wondering if anyone can explain why this is happening or if they've had the same thing happen to them. Thanks for the help!
honestly the tingling lips thing is a bit of a red flag... that usually points to an allergic reaction or some kind of sensitivity to the carrier oil or the solvents they use like benzyl benzoate. the cough and chest pain is basically "test cough" (like tren cough) where a tiny bit of the oil gets into a nicked vein and hits your lungs but the tingling is definitely worth keeping an eye on- might be worth trying a different brand with a different carrier oil.
man the first time i got the cough i thought i was dying lol but yeah it happens if you accidentally hit a blood vessel. the lip tingling though... that’s not really part of the "cough" experience usually. does it happen every time or just this once? if it keeps happening you might be developing a mild allergy to the cottonseed oil or whatever they're using.
id definitely double check your injection technique or maybe try a different spot like the ventroglute if your doing quads. sometimes hitting a vein is just bad luck but if your getting chest pain and tingling every time that’s your body trying to tell you something... maybe try drawing back a tiny bit before you pin to make sure your not in a vessel.
the tingling lips almost sounds like a minor anaphylactic thing or just a really weird reaction to the solvents. if it goes away fast it’s probably fine but i’d be careful man. maybe have some benadryl nearby just in case it gets worse next time- better safe than sorry when it comes to breathing and chest pain!
welcome to the club lol the cough is a rite of passage for gear users. it’s basically just oil microembolism in the lungs- feels like your lungs are on fire for a minute then it passes. but the tingling is new to me... maybe the benzyl alcohol content is a bit high in that batch? ugl stuff can be pretty inconsistent with the recipes sometimes.
