Do you guys think a bunch of those top-tier high school football recruits are actually using gear? I'm talking about the best of the best - since they aren't really getting drug tested in high school, it seems like it would be pretty easy for them to get away with it.
honestly if you look at some of these kids coming out of georgia or texas they already look like nfl vets... i refuse to believe they're getting that huge on just "chicken and rice" lol especially when there's zero testing in most districts
its definitely a thing but i think its mostly the guys on the fringe trying to get that d1 offer who take the biggest risks. if you're a 5-star recruit you might not want to ruin your future but then again the pressure to stay at the top is insane
i played with a guy who was definitely on something senior year and nobody even batted an eye- coaches just loved that he was a beast on the line. as long as your winning and not getting in legal trouble most people just look the other way
you're not wrong about how easy it is to get away with. without random testing it’s basically the honor system and we all know how that goes when there's millions of dollars in scholarship money on the line
man i remember seeing 16 year olds at my gym who were bigger than the college guys. it’s pretty sad but if your competition is juicing and you arent then your basically just putting yourself at a disadvantage
lol i saw a kid the other day who was 6'4 and like 240 of pure muscle at 17... like yeah okay sure buddy its just "puberty" haha. the scary part is they probably dont even know how to pct right at that age
