hey guys is there actually anywhere reliable left to grab raws from right now? it feels like everything is a ghost town or just sketchy as hell lately and i really dont want to get burned by some random source that pops up overnight.
if anyone knows a place that's actually legit and shipping right now let me know because im struggling to find anything that isnt a total gamble lol
man i feel u. it’s a total minefield out there lately. honestly most of the old "reliable" guys from a few years ago have either vanished or gone private. your best bet is to spend some time on the specialized forums and look for the guys who have been posting third-party janoshik tests recently. dont trust anyone who cant show u a lab report from the last 3 months.
it’s definitely getting harder. customs has been on a tear lately so a lot of the international raw suppliers are struggling to land packs. if u find a domestic source for raws just be prepared to pay a premium. i’d rather pay more than play the "will it clear customs" game for 4 weeks just to get a love letter lol.
honestly its all about the private groups now. the public "open" sources are the ones that get burned or exit scam. find a community where people actually talk and share their own lab results. it takes a bit more digging but its way better than getting a bag of flour or some weird research chem.
i’ve been seeing a lot of "ghost" sites popping up too. if the website looks too professional and they’re offering crazy deals on everything, stay far away. real raw suppliers usually have the most basic, ugly websites from 2005 haha. just look for the guys with a long track record and stay small with your first "test" order.
definitely feels like a ghost town. i think a lot of the big raw factories overseas had some heat recently so supply is just tight everywhere. if ur in a rush u might just have to stick to finished oils for a bit until the raw market stabilizes again. sucks but better than getting scammed.
man if u find somewhere let me know lol. i’ve been looking for a solid source for mast raws for two months. everything i find looks sketchy as hell. i’m almost at the point where i’m just gonna go back to buying finished products just for the peace of mind.
check the veteran-only sections of the main boards if u have access. that’s where the real talk happens. the general forums are mostly just shills and scammers these days. also, stay away from anybody hitting u up in the DMs - that’s the easiest way to get burned.
lol welcome to the struggle. it’s like a full-time job just keeping track of who’s still legit. if u do find a source make sure u send a sample off for testing yourself. even the "good" guys get a bad batch of raws sometimes and u dont want to be the one pinning heavy metals or whatever.
