hey friends so i just started homebrewing recently and unfortunately for my first batch of raws i ended up with some of that nasty smelling yellow npp people have been talking about on here. after i dissolved it in the bb and mixed in the ba and mct i ended up with this dark yellow cloudy looking solution that had a ton of sediment sitting in it
i ran it through a 22um filter and it actually came out as a clear light yellow liquid but now i have basically no clue what the actual concentration is. i was aiming for 100mg/ml with a 10% overdose but seeing how much sediment was left behind i bet the raws are way less than 90% pure...
ive been searching around a bunch but i cant find anyone whos actually done a lab test on this specific yellowish npp raw powder. has anybody here actually tested or even used this gear? honestly i feel like its probably all the same batch from one factory and just a bunch of different chinese suppliers are selling it under there own names
man that yellow npp is the worst lol - i had a batch like that last year and it smelled like a wet dog. honestly if you filtered out a ton of sediment your concentration is definitely lower than 100mg. it sucks because npp is usually so smooth but with that specific raw batch going around its a total gamble. id probably just use it as a "booster" and not rely on it for your main dose until you see how you feel.
honestly dude i would be a little sketched out by that much sediment being left in the filter. npp should dissolve pretty easy in bb so if there’s a lot of junk left behind it could be anything from unreacted chemicals to just straight filler. i havent seen a lab test on the yellow stuff either but the general consensus is that its trash. maybe just cut your losses and grab some better raws for the next round?
i’ve used "dirty" looking raws before and they still worked but the pip was usually way worse than the clean white powder. since you already filtered it and it came out clear you might be okay - just keep an eye on the injection site for any redness or swelling. the fact that it cleared up is a good sign but yeah your 100mg target is probably more like 70mg or 80mg now.
man that really sucks for your first brew! dont let it discourage you though because once you get a hold of some high quality raws the process is so much more satisfying. you're probably right about it all coming from one factory in china - they probably had a bad run and just pushed it out anyway. if i were you id probably just double the dose and see if you get the usual nandrolone feels lol.
