We all know those Chinese oils are the cheapest way to go, but I'm trying to figure out who actually has the cleanest stuff. Most vendors are quick to post their purity tests, but you almost never see anyone showing results for contaminants or heavy metals. I get that those tests cost way more to run, and I’m sure someone is going to jump in the comments and tell me to stop looking for a handout - but for the people who actually care about what they're pinning, maybe we should pool some cash and effort to get this sorted ourselves.
man i been thinking the same thing forever. everyone obsesses over 99% purity but nobody talks about the lead or arsenic that could be in there from the raw factory. id definitely throw some money toward a group fund for a full metal panel
its a great idea but jano and the other labs charge a fortune for heavy metal testing compared to just a simple quant test. still... if we got like 20 people to chip in it wouldnt be that bad for a one time check on a popular source
youre totally right about the "spoon feeding" comments lol but honestly health should come first. id rather pay a bit more for a vendor who actually proves their stuff is clean and not just potent. count me in if you get a group together
i remember someone did this a few years back and the results were actually pretty eye opening. some of the "top" sources actually had some sketchy levels of residual solvents. definitely worth looking into again for the current big players
