I'm curious if anyone else is running into this or has found a fix. Even when I'm in a slight surplus - eating around 3500 to 4000 calories - my hunger is absolutely insane without Reta. Using .5mg every other day keeps the appetite in check, but my pumps are non-existent no matter how many carbs I eat. I can slam 200g of carbs pre-workout, get a decent pump for the first set, and then I'm totally flat again immediately after.
I really need a solution for this. Should I try switching to Cagri? Or maybe just back the dose off to .5mg every three days? I honestly can't control my eating without a GLP unless I want to abuse stimulants and be miserable 24/7. I've searched the forums but can't find much about Reta causing flatness or mid-day hypoglycemia, though it kind of makes sense if I'm eating high carb. My fasted glucose is usually 70-90 and my A1C is 4.6 if that helps at all.
Low dose Reta has been a total game changer for my food addiction and eating issues, but these flat workouts and looking deflated in the mirror is almost as bad. Anyone else experienced this?
Yeah I felt this hard on reta. Appetite control was awesome but my pumps were trash no matter what I did. Backing the dose off a bit helped me
I noticed the same flat look when carbs were high too kinda feels like it just shuttles everything weird. Training fasted was even worse for me
You’re not crazy lol I had mid workout crashes on low dose reta. Switching to every 3rd day made a noticeable difference
GLPs are amazing for food noise but man they can mess with training vibes. Sometimes it’s picking which problem you wanna deal with 😅
Never tried cagri but a buddy said it didn’t kill his pumps the same way. Reta definitely messed with my fullness and gym feel
