ive been on the sema train since october 2023 and man its been a wild ride. i managed to drop 197 pounds total - went from 390 all the way down to 193 which is just insane to think about. i just wrapped up a 6 week metabolic break and started cutting again this week with way higher calories and so far things are going good

the reason im writing this is cause my insurance just swapped over and the new company is being a pain and wont cover wegovy or any semaglutide at all. i only have two 1.7mg doses left in the fridge before im completely out. my plan is to stretch those out over the next month just so its not such a huge shock to my system when it stops.

im debating on maybe picking up some ugl reta at like 2-4mg a week once i run out of the pharma stuff just to see if that triple action helps me finish this cut. or i could just quit glp-1s entirely but honestly that idea is pretty terrifying even though my diet is dialed in.

anyone here have advice on coming off these things after being on them for so long? losing all that weight has changed everything for me-im a better man and a better dad for it. i feel like i have the habits down now but its still scary as hell to think about doing it without the help. thanks in advance for any input you guys got

totally get the fear of stopping GLPs after that long, your body really does get used to it

stretching out the last doses sounds smart, easing off is probably safer than cold turkey

sounds like your habits are solid though, that’s the real win even if the GLP is gone

I’d be careful with UGL stuff, side effects can hit differently than pharma

maybe focus on reinforcing the diet and lifestyle you’ve built first before jumping to anything new
