so heres the deal with my situation right now. im 36 years old and 5-11 and over this past year i actually did a killer job dropping 60 lbs just through diet and grit... went from 230 down to 170. but then i finally quit nicotine and the rebound hunger just hit me like a freight train. to make it even more of a mess i just started trt recently and that has basically just kicked my appetite into overdrive even more than before

i already gained 20 lbs back so now im back up to 190 and im starting to panic a bit. its not like im lazy either-i lift 4 days a week and my job is super active so i always get at least 10k steps and climb like 20 flights of stairs every single shift. i try to track all my macros but honestly the food noise is just getting to be too much and the sugar cravings are constantly winning lately...

im totally new to this whole glp-1 world but i keep seeing stuff about tirzepatide and retatrutide. im hoping one of them can help quiet my brain down so i can get back to my goal weight.

can you guys give me the rundown on the pros and cons of tirz vs reta for someone like me? just trying to figure out which one is better for handling that intense hunger while staying active. thanks for any help you can give me

quitting nicotine is brutal on hunger, so don’t beat yourself up for the rebound weight

GLPs could definitely help curb appetite, but they hit everyone a bit differently

tirz is usually easier to adjust slowly, reta seems more aggressive but can be stronger on appetite

honestly a lot depends on how your body reacts and what side effects you can tolerate
