i'm definitely not thinking about doing this myself but i was just curious how everyone here feels about it. like, do you think its actually an effective tool to shut down cravings while your doing a strict deficit and hitting your protein? or is it just another overhyped fad that’s gonna leave you feeling like crap during your workouts and making you hate every meal you prepped
just wanted to see what people think cuz their seems to be a lot of hype around it lately lol
honestly I think it depends on the person. some ppl swear it helps, others just end up miserable and low energy lol
ngl anything that kills my appetite too much just wrecks my workouts. I’d rather be a little hungry than feel dead in the gym
feels like one of those things that sounds great on paper but sucks long term. especially if food already feels like a chore
the hype is crazy rn but half the time that stuff just masks bad habits instead of fixing them

i think it can help some ppl mentally but for others it just nukes energy and makes training feel awful
every time something’s super hyped it’s never as magic as people say lol
ngl if it makes you hate food and workouts it’s prob not worth it long term
cravings usually calm down after a bit anyway once you’re consistent with protein
