so im 38m and 80 kgs and been lifting for 18 years im 5'8 and pretty lean right now. i want to run a 14 week cycle of 250mg Test E plus 300mg of Mast E and for pct im doing 6 weeks of nolvadex at 20mg a day. my diet has been completely solid for years and ive tried all the usual supplements and diet tweaks to lower my high shbg but nothing really works at all. i just got a full medical and blood panel check done and everything is looking great except for the high shbg levels (i can post the numbers if it helps). has anyone ran this exact cycle before and noticed any good results with their training progress and mental state. any advice or insight you guys have would be awesome. thanks.

i’ve run something pretty close to that setup and honestly the mast part is what you’ll really feel more than anything else, especially at that bodyweight and leanness. strength was solid and I looked tighter pretty quick, but mentally it can go either way, like some days super sharp and other days a bit flat or irritable

mast was honestly one of the few compounds that made me feel genuinely good mentally. confidence up libido through the roof and just this weird clean focused feeling in the gym. only downside for me was eventually my joints started feeling dry as hell once estrogen got pushed too low

high SHBG is annoying af, i’ve had similar and nothing “quick fix” really worked long term either. cycle itself looks pretty clean tho, should be a nice recomp type run if everything responds well

high SHBG is annoying af, had similar and nothing “natural” really fixed it long term for me either. training still progressed fine tho even with it

18 years lifting and still dialing stuff in is actually pretty solid, not many people get that far without knowing their body well tbh

at 38, your mental state is gonna be through the roof on this. the mast acts like a mild anti-depressant and keeps the bloat off, so you'll look dry and hard the whole time without the "moon face" look. since you're already lean and have 18 years of lifting under your belt, you’re in the perfect spot to actually see the cosmetic changes. it’s not gonna put 20lbs of mass on you, but the muscle you do put on will be high quality and you’ll feel like a total beast in the gym.

honestly that sounds like one of the more reasonable setups i’ve seen lately lol. mast always seemed to give people that clean motivated feeling when it agrees with them but the dry joints and hair stuff can sneak up quick. high shbg is annoying as hell though because some guys chase it forever and still function perfectly fine anyway
