Are these expired oils still good to use?

I've got a vial of test that’s been sitting in a dark closet, totally sealed, since 2018. Does anyone know how long these things actually stay good for? I’m wondering if it's still safe to pin or if I should just toss it since it's been a few years.

honestly if its been in a cool dark place it’s probably fine. most gear stays potent way past the expiration date on the vial- maybe it loses like 1-2% of its kick but you wouldn't even notice. just hold it up to a light and make sure there’s no "floaties" or crystals in the oil.

if it's from 2018 you might find that the oil has crashed a bit. if you see crystals at the bottom just warm the vial up in some warm water and shake it till it’s clear again. as long as the seal is tight it should still be sterile.

bro i’ve pinned stuff that was 3 years out of date and i’m still here lol. the biggest risk with old gear isn't that it becomes "toxic" it’s just that the carrier oil could technically go rancid but if it doesn't smell like old gym socks when you draw it you're good.

test is a pretty stable molecule so it doesn't just "die" after a few years. as long as you kept it out of the sun and it wasn't sitting in a hot car in the summer it's most likely still good to go. i’d use it.

i’m usually the "better safe than sorry" guy but if it’s a sealed vial and it looks clear i wouldnt think twice. just watch for any extra pip (post-injection pain) since sometimes older oil can be a little more irritating to the muscle.

lmfao i found a vial of deca from like 2017 last year and ran it... worked just as well as the new stuff. just check the rubber stopper to make sure it hasn't dried out or cracked- if the seal is intact the gear is usually fine.

honestly test is cheap enough that if your really worried you might as well just buy a fresh one for the peace of mind. but realistically- yeah it’s still good. 2018 isn't even that long ago in the world of "dark closet" finds.

just check for any discoloration. if it was a light yellow and now it’s dark brown maybe toss it but if the color is the same as the day you got it your golden. the dark closet was the perfect place for it.
