I’m currently running 40 mg of Accutane and the joint and lower back pain is really starting to suck. Right now, I’m using hyaluronic acid to help the joints and TUDCA to keep my liver from getting too stressed out.

I was thinking about adding in some low-dose EQ, Anavar, or maybe MK-677 specifically to see if the collagen benefits would help take the edge off. Does anyone have any experience with this or any other tips for making the dryness and aches more manageable?

man accutane back pain is no joke i remember being on it and feeling like a 90 year old man just trying to get out of bed... mk677 helped me a bit with the joints cuz of the water retention but watch out for the hunger cuz it makes the accutane lethargy way worse lol

honestly i wouldnt touch anavar while your on accutane- both are harsh on the liver and even with tudca your just asking for trouble with those liver enzymes. maybe stick to the mk or just bump up the fish oil dose like crazy i’m talking 4-6 grams a day it really helps the dryness

have you tried collagen peptides? i know it sounds like basic supplement stuff but taking a scoop a day along with the hyaluronic acid made a huge difference for my knees when i was running 20mg... also drink way more water than you think you need like a gallon minimum

mk-677 is probably your best bet out of those options since it doesn't mess with your hormones or liver like var does plus the extra water it holds will actually cushion your joints a bit - just be ready for the crazy dreams haha

stay away from the orals man your liver is already working overtime processing the accutane... if the pain is that bad maybe talk to your derm about dropping the dose to 20mg? it takes longer but the sides are way more chill i switched halfway through and it saved my lower back

accutane is the worst for that man. honestly i wouldnt touch anavar right now if your joints are already dry... var usually makes my pumps feel like my muscles are gonna burst and the back pumps are brutal. stick to the mk or just tons of water.

bro skip the oral steroids if youre already taking accutane. your liver is already fighting for its life lol. mk677 might help with the sleep and recovery but for the joints try some high dose fish oil and maybe collagen peptides?

40mg is a pretty high dose if youre also lifting heavy. i had to drop down to 20mg every other day and the skin stayed clear but the joint pain actually went away. maybe talk to your derm about a lower dose for longer?

whatever u do dont add anavar. that stuff dries me out even more and the back pumps on top of accutane back pain sounds like a nightmare. id just stick to the hyaluronic acid and maybe add some taurine for the cramps

i used mk-677 on my last accutane run and the extra water retention actually helped my joints feel way less "clicky" if that makes sense. just watch the hunger lol i was eating everything in sight.

honestly nothing really fixes the accutane dryness except finishing the course. just gotta embrace the lizard life for a few months. i used a heating pad on my lower back every night and it was a lifesaver.

eq might help with collagen but it takes forever to kick in. by the time it works youll probably be done with the accutane anyway lol. just keep chugging water like its your job.
