hey everyone i messed up big time today. i had a couple vials that were partially crashing so i set them on my mug warmer this morning to get them back into solution and then i totally blanked on them...
come back like eight hours later and of course they are blazing hot to the touch but honestly the oil looks perfectly clear like it should- im just worried i might have wrecked the actual compounds with that much heat for that long. are these things still good to use or did i basically just cook my gear into trash?
thanks for any help because i really dont want to toss these if i dont have to- let me know what you guys think
Dude don't sweat it too much, we've all done something similar lol. Most of these compounds are actually way more resilient than people think. Think about it - the labs literally cook this stuff at high temps to get it to dissolve in the first place. As long as it hasn't turned a weird dark brown or burnt color, it's probably 100% fine to use.
Eight hours on a mug warmer is definitely a long time but it probably didn't get hot enough to actually degrade the hormone. Usually you need way higher heat for that to happen. If it’s clear and there isn't anything floating in it, I’d still pin it. Just maybe let it cool down first unless you want a literal hot shot haha.
man i did the exact same thing with some sustanon last year lol. i left it on the stove in a water bath and forgot about it until the water was almost gone. the gear still worked perfectly fine and i didn't notice any drop in strength or anything. keep 'em and use 'em - gear is tougher than it looks.
honestly man you are probably fine lol. most of these compounds are way more stable than people give them credit for. a mug warmer usually hits like 120-140 degrees but testosterone doesnt even start to really degrade until way higher than that. if the oil is clear and not discolored or smelling like burnt plastic i'd bet it's still good to go
lol "cooked my gear into trash" is a bit dramatic but i totally get the panic. i left a vial in my car during a texas summer once and it was basically a furnace in there all day... still worked exactly the same. the main risk is the rubber stopper degrading or the oil getting weird but if it looks crystal clear you definitely didn't "break" the molecules
man 8 hours is a long time for a mug warmer but think about it this way- some guys literally bake their vials in the oven to sterilize homebrew. unless you see some weird dark tint to the oil your compound is likely 100% intact. just let it cool down naturally and dont stick it in the fridge to rush it or it might just crash again
honestly i’ve done the same thing before with a coffee warmer and felt like a total idiot lol. i ran that same vial for the next 6 weeks and my bloodwork came back exactly where it was supposed to be. steroids are pretty resilient to heat - it’s UV light and oxygen you really gotta worry about more than a few hours of heat
your totally fine bro. if it was "trash" now it would be cloudy or have some nasty dark brown color from the oil oxidizing. since it's clear it just means the crystals finally melted back in like they were supposed to. maybe just keep an eye on the injection site for the first few shots to make sure the oil didnt get "bitey" from the heat
haha welcome to the club man. the amount of people who have "cooked" their gear on a heater is probably way higher than you think. as long as the rubber top didn't melt or get all gooey you're good. the actual hormones can handle way more heat than a mug warmer can put out... just try to remember the timer next time!
i wouldn't toss it man gear is too expensive for that lol. if you're really paranoid just use it as your "cruise" oil and see if you feel any different but i'm 99% sure its still full potency. if it didn't turn into a dark sludge it's not ruined. just a lesson learned the hard way - no more mug warmers without a 15 min timer!
