I'm currently running a stack of 20mg Olmesartan (couldn't get my hands on any Telmisartan), 5mg Amlodipine, and 5mg Nebivolol. Even with all that, my numbers are still sitting right around 130/90.
I actually gave 25mg of Hydrochlorothiazide a shot, but it was a nightmare for my sleep - I was getting up at least three times every night just to pee. I'm wondering if adding something like Doxasozin to the mix would be a smart move or if there's a better way to finally get this under control?
man once you’re stacking that many bp meds and still sitting at 130 90 i’d start looking hard at the actual cause too not just adding more stuff on top. sleep apnea water retention crazy sodium intake high hematocrit all that gear related stuff can sneak up hard and make meds feel useless
man once you’re already on that many meds it feels like the bigger question becomes what’s driving the bp in the first place. high hematocrit sleep apnea stress water retention too much stimulant use all that stuff can make you chase numbers forever no matter what combo you throw at it
sometimes things like sodium intake, sleep quality, stress, and even body comp make a bigger difference than people expect with resistant BP
