pregnancy anxiety can latch onto anything- it doesn’t mean those fears are true

GD is way more common than people talk about and most babies do just fine

doctors don’t offer these things casually- they’re weighing real risks vs benefits

First off, sending you a huge hug ❤️ You’ve been through so much and it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed. The fact that you’re asking for help and seeing professionals already shows how much you care about your baby.

I’ve known a few parents who got the “just in case” steroid shots and their kids turned out totally fine-healthy, thriving, completely normal. Those doses are super common and generally very safe.

GD and polyhydramnios can be stressful, but lots of people manage them successfully and have perfectly healthy babies. Your doctors are keeping a close eye, which is exactly what matters.

It’s so easy to spiral on “what ifs,” especially with Google at your fingertips. Remember: worrying about every single little thing doesn’t undo the good care you’ve given your baby already.

You haven’t failed at all. You’ve been proactive, followed medical advice, and gotten support-literally everything a caring parent can do. Your baby can feel that love, even now.
