I know Prop is notorious for being painful, but man, this PIP is starting to drive me crazy. The weirdest part is that I had absolutely zero issues for the first few weeks. Now, all of a sudden, the site swelling and muscle soreness are just constant and it's getting super frustrating.
Has anyone else dealt with this? I made the switch from Test C just to try something new, mostly because I kept hearing people talk about "feeling" more positive benefits from it. Honestly, I’m starting to think that's all BS and I’m about ready to just swap over to Test E instead.
It’s just so annoying because it was going so well at the start. Anyone else have it hit them late like this?
dude welcome to the club lol. prop is notorious for that delayed pip. for me it was fine for like 10 days and then my quads felt like i’d been kicked by a horse. honestly the "benefits" of prop vs cyp or e are mostly in people’s heads man. if it’s messing with your workouts because ur too sore to lift just swap back to test e. not worth the literal headache
yeah the swelling is the worst. it usually hits later because the "carrier oil" or the solvents start irritating the tissue after repeated shots in the same areas. if u really want to stick it out try mixing it in the same syringe with some deca or something thin to dilute it but honestly id just go back to test e. life is too short to limp around 24/7 lol.
man i fell for the "prop feels better" meme too back in the day. felt exactly the same as cyp except i had to pin every day and my glutes were full of knots. if ur already at the point where ur frustrated just make the switch. the stress of dreading the pin actually ruins the cycle imo.
weird that it hit u late but that happened to my buddy too. i think sometimes your body just decides it’s had enough of that specific solvent. if ur seeing redness or it feels hot definitely keep an eye on it tho. probably just standard prop pip but better safe than sorry. i’m a test e guy for life for this exact reason.
lol yeah prop is a love/hate thing. some guys get zero pip and others get wrecked. if u aren't noticing some crazy difference in how u feel then there’s no reason to suffer through it. test e is way smoother. just remember itll take a week or two for the prop to clear and the e to kick in fully if u swap now!
literally same thing happened to me. first two weeks i was like "what is everyone complaining about?" then week 3 hit and i could barely walk up the stairs lol. its usually the BA/BB concentrations in the prop that finally just irritate the muscle tissue too much. i went back to test e and never looked back, the "prop feel" is definitely 90% placebo anyway.
man just swap. its not worth the inflammation. if ur sites are swelling up its probably affecting your training at this point right? i tried to "tough it out" once and ended up with a literal lump in my ventroglute for a month. test e is just so much more convenient and way smoother on the body.
the "prop glow" is a myth if u ask me haha. maybe u hold a tiny bit less water but its not worth feeling like u have the flu in your leg every day. that late onset swelling is super common, your body just gets sensitized to the short ester. id just pull the plug and go back to a long ester before it gets even worse.
try warming the vial up under some hot water before u pin, sometimes that helps the oil flow better and reduces the bite. but honestly? prop is just a pain in the ass (literally). if ur already over it by week 3 or 4 just switch now so u can actually enjoy the rest of your cycle.
i had the exact same experience. it’s like my body developed an allergy to it after two weeks. i switched to test c and literally all the "issues" vanished in 48 hours. save yourself the trouble and just make the swap man, the gains are gonna be the same regardless of the ester.
