anyone here actually had a heart attack and still kept going with low doses of testosterone after? i'm curious if its even a thing people do or if there doctors just shut that down right away because i'm trying to figure out if staying on a small amount is even an option after something like that happens- let me know if your in that boat or know someone who is

honestly it’s more common than u think but u gotta be super careful with the hematocrit and blood pressure. if those stay high after a heart attack you’re playing with fire. id definitely be looking for a cardiologist who actually understands hormones

man that is heavy stuff. i know a guy at my gym who had a scare last year and his doc actually kept him on a low trt dose because having bottomed out levels is apparently just as bad for your heart stress- definitely talk to a specialist though not just a gp

damn stay safe out there. i’ve read some studies saying trt can actually help heart health if it’s done right and kept in range but after a heart attack the rules definitely change. keep us posted on what your doctor says

sorry to hear that happened bro. my cousin went through something similar and he stayed on but he had to drop the "blast" mindset forever. now he just does like 100mg a week and watches his labs like a hawk

i think most "regular" doctors will tell u to stop everything immediately just to be safe. but if u find a sports doc they might work with u on a replacement dose. quality of life matters too but yeah safety first man

man that is a heavy situation to be in. i know a guy at my gym who had a scare last year and his doc actually kept him on a low trt dose because having bottomed out test is also terrible for your heart health. it's all about keeping the hematocrit in check and not letting your blood get too thick- definitely talk to a cardiologist who knows sports meds though

honestly i think it depends on why it happened in the first place. if it was from high blood pressure or thick blood then docs usually freak out but if your levels are just "normal" trt range some are okay with it. i wouldn't risk anything crazy but being totally crashed feels like death too so i get why you'd want to stay on a little bit.

i saw a thread on another forum about this a while back and plenty of guys stay on trt after heart issues. the main thing is they usually switch to daily shots to keep everything stable and stay far away from anything oral or harsh like tren. definitely dont hide it from your doctor though man thats a recipe for disaster

thats a scary spot to be in brother. i dont have personal experience but from what ive read keeping your test at a healthy level is actually better for your heart than having zero hormones. just gotta be super strict with the bloodwork and maybe add in some extra cardio and a clean diet. hope your doing alright after the scare

my uncle actually went through this. his doctor was cool with trt as long as he kept his total test under like 600 or 700. they just didnt want him doing "blast" levels anymore because of the strain. its definitely possible but your definitely gonna be on a short leash with the medical team- stay safe man

honestly man i know a guy who had a bypass and his specialist actually insisted he stay on a trt dose just to keep his muscle mass and energy up during recovery. the key for him was staying away from anything that messes with cholesterol. id say its definitely an option but you gotta find a doctor who isnt just gonna give you a knee-jerk "no" because they're scared of the word testosterone

i think the biggest worry for docs is the red blood cell count getting too high and putting pressure on the heart. if you can show them your keeping your blood thin and your bp is under control they might be more open to it. i definitely wouldn't be trying to hit "enhanced" levels anymore but staying at a healthy baseline seems pretty common these days even after a scare. stay safe out there man
