I’m curious what most of you guys are doing for your maintenance dose - are you sticking with pharma-grade or just running UGL for your weekly TRT?
I’ve been thinking about switching over to Pharmacom Test Cyp 250 for both my cruise and my blast phases. I'm definitely planning to pull my own labs to keep an eye on my markers and make sure everything is legit, but I'd love to hear some feedback first.
What are the pros and cons of making the jump to UGL for the long haul?
Honestly man, unless you have a crazy good insurance plan that covers the pharma stuff, UGL is the way to go for the long haul. Pharmacom is usually solid and way cheaper. The main con is obviously the risk of a bad batch, but if you're pulling your own labs like you said, you'll catch it pretty quick. I've been on UGL for years and my levels are way more stable than when I was fighting with a doctor every month.
I made the switch to UGL last year and never looked back. The biggest pro is definitely the price and the freedom - no more pharmacy delays or annoying doctor visits. Just make sure your source is legit. Pharmacom has a decent rep but always check the latest lab tests on the boards. Only real con is the occasional "spicy" shot if the carrier oil is different, but you get used to it.
pharma is nice for peace of mind but man it gets expensive fast if you arent covered. i use ugl for my cruise and blast because i can just stockpile it and not worry about running out. plus ugl test usually comes in 250 or 300mg so you pin less volume than that 100mg/ml pharma stuff. just keep an eye on your bloodwork and youll be fine!
Pharmacom is a classic choice for a reason. I've used their Cyp 250 for a few cruises and it always held its own. The only thing I’d say is that pharma grade is held to way stricter sterilization standards, but as long as you use a top tier UGL, it’s basically the same thing. Once you start blasting, the cost difference is so huge that UGL just makes more sense for most of us.
honestly man i made the switch to ugl like two years ago and never looked back. pharma is great for the peace of mind but the price tag is just stupid compared to what you can get from a solid source. pharmacom is usually pretty reliable too so if you're pulling your own labs you'll know pretty quick if it's hitting right.
i still stick with pharma for my cruise just because my insurance covers it and i like knowing it’s 100% sterile and accurate. but for blasts? definitely ugl all the way. the main con with ugl for long term trt is just the consistency- sometimes one batch is fire and the next is a little underdosed but if your checking your bloodwork regularly its not a huge deal.
pharmacom is a solid choice i've used there test cyp 250 plenty of times with no issues. the biggest pro is obviously the money you save lol. the only real downside is you gotta trust the source and the shipping. if your doc is cool with you doing your own thing then ugl is a no-brainer for most guys.
lol "maintenance" is a funny word for it but yeah i cruise on ugl. i was worried about the quality at first but after a few blood tests showed my levels were exactly where they should be i stopped stressing. just make sure you keep an eye on your pip because some ugl carrier oils can be a bit more "bitey" than the pharma stuff.
i tried ugl for a while but went back to pharma for my trt dose. i just found that my levels fluctuated more with the ugl stuff and it was annoying to keep adjusting. plus i don't have to worry about heavy metals or bacteria with the pharmacy stuff. for a blast though? yeah ugl is fine since your already pushing the limits anyway.
pros: way cheaper, easier to get in bulk, higher concentrations usually available. cons: you might get a bad batch, shipping delays, or random pip. pharmacom is a top tier brand though so your probably safe. just dont skip the bloodwork- thats the only way to really know if the switch was worth it!
