so ive been running 8ius of hgh for like 4 months now and im currently off cycle just cruise mode right now but im gonna go get some bloods for igf-1 and tsh to see where im at. i really want to bump the dose up to 12ius but im kind of stuck on how to schedule it. im debating between doing the standard 5 days on and 2 days off or maybe just taking 3 days off every month and doing a 48-72 hour fast to keep things fresh since i plan on staying on for the rest of the year and dont want my blood sugar getting totally wrecked.

then for the insulin side of things i cant decide if i should just alternate between lantus and novalog 4x a week or if its better to just take them both on the same day every other day. their is a lot of different ways to do it so im just trying to figure out what makes the most sense for staying sensitised long term. what do you guys think would work best if im staying on this long

long term the thing that actually matters most is how stable your blood sugar and sensitivity stay day to day, not some perfect schedule hack you can rotate. fasting + insulin + hgh combos can get unpredictable pretty fast, even if it feels controlled on paper. i’d be really careful about pushing dose up while also stacking more variables instead of simplifying and seeing what your body is actually doing first.

you’re already pretty deep into the “fine tuning forever” zone with that setup so i’d be careful trying to out-optimize it with even more complexity. in my experience once you start stacking timing tricks + fasting + multiple insulin patterns it gets really hard to tell what’s actually improving sensitivity vs just adding more moving parts. long term consistency tends to matter more than constantly rotating protocols. if bloods come back decent on igf and thyroid i’d honestly focus more on keeping everything stable before pushing dose higher or layering in more scheduling changes, because that’s usually where things start going sideways without you noticing it right away.
