A buddy of mine has been talking my ear off about using Salbutamol pills for fat loss lately. He suggested a specific protocol where you go 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. The plan he laid out starts at 8mg a day with 200mg of caffeine, then bumps up to 12mg with 400mg of caffeine after a couple of days. Finally, you hit 16mg with 400mg of caffeine for the rest of that two-week stretch, splitting the doses between the morning and noon. You basically just keep repeating that cycle until you hit your goal weight.
For anyone here who has actually used Salbutamol to cut, does this sound like a solid plan? I’m wondering if there’s anything missing from this setup or if there are ways to make it work even better. Also, what has your experience actually been like using it for weight loss? I'd love to know if it's worth the effort.
honestly man salbutamol is way better than clen in my opinion because the half-life is shorter so you can actually sleep at night. that protocol sounds pretty standard but 400mg of caffeine on top of 16mg of sal is gonna have your heart doing backflips lol. id definitely start lower on the caffeine until you see how shaky the sal makes you. it definitely works for fat loss but it's more about that extra metabolic edge and the energy to crush your cardio.
the 2 weeks on/2 weeks off thing is a bit old school - some people say you don't even need the break with salbutamol like you do with clen because it doesnt desensitize the receptors as fast. but for a first timer it’s probably a safe bet. just a heads up that your hands might shake a bit so if you have to do anything like fine motor work or typing at a desk it might get annoying lol. but yeah for a cut it’s definitely worth a shot!
man 400mg of caffeine with 16mg of sal is wild lol i would be vibrating out of my skin. the plan is solid for fat loss but make sure you're taking some extra taurine and potassium. salbutamol can deplete your taurine levels pretty fast and you'll get some nasty cramps in your calves or back if you aren't careful. i used it for a 6 week cut and the results were great but the cramps were the only downside.
i've used it and honestly i prefer the oral pills over the inhalers for weight loss for sure. your buddy's dosing schedule is okay but i would personally split it into three doses instead of two since it wears off pretty quick. like maybe 8am, 12pm, and 4pm. that keeps the levels more steady so you dont get that weird crash in the afternoon. and seriously- watch the caffeine lol that is a lot of stims.
it definitely works but don't expect it to do all the work for you. it’s like an extra 5-10% boost to your metabolism. i found it really helped with my appetite too which was a nice bonus. the biggest thing is just the jitters- i felt a little "cracked out" for the first few days but then my body adjusted. it’s way milder than clen but still gives you that nice heat and sweat during workouts.
your buddy has the right idea but id stay at the 12mg dose for a bit longer before jumping to 16mg. no need to rush it if you're already seeing results at the lower dose. plus the higher you go the more it messes with your blood pressure. for a cut it's definitely a "classic" for a reason- just be smart about the heart rate and dont go doing crazy hiit cardio right after a dose!
i actually liked salbutamol way more than i thought i would. i did a similar 2 week on/off cycle and lost about 8lbs of pure fat in a month. just make sure you're drinking a ton of water because the stims will dry you out fast. also maybe keep the caffeine at 200mg the whole time? 400mg is basically two bang energy drinks on top of the pills... my heart hurts just thinking about it haha.
man that 400mg caffeine on top of 12-16mg of salbutamol sounds like a one-way ticket to anxiety city lol. i've done the 2 weeks on/off thing before and it definitely works for fat loss but the shakes are real. maybe start with less caffeine until you see how your heart handles the salbutamol
honestly salbutamol is way better than clen because the half life is shorter so you can actually sleep at night. the protocol sounds pretty standard but 16mg is a hefty dose. i usually found that 8-12mg was plenty if my diet was actually dialed in. definitely keeps the metabolism humming though!
your buddy isnt wrong about the 2 week cycle but make sure you’re taking some taurine with it. these types of stims can drain your taurine levels and lead to some nasty muscle cramps especially during cardio. id also skip the noon dose if you have trouble sleeping because it can still keep you up
i tried this exact setup last summer and lost about 4kg in a month but man i was twitchy as hell. it’s great for appetite suppression too which is a nice bonus. just dont expect it to do all the work for you... it’s like an extra 5-10% boost if everything else is on point.
is it worth it? i mean yeah if you’re trying to get that last bit of stubborn fat off. but if you still have a lot to lose i’d just stick to a bigger deficit. the 400mg caffeine is the only part that worries me- that’s a lot of stimulants to be mixing every day for two weeks straight!
