you always hear such conflicting stuff about t3 like some guys say it basically does nothing at all while others swear it'll just eat through all your muscle like a chainsaw or something i'm trying to figure out what the actual math is here

so like the human body normally makes around 30mcg of t3 every day on its own right so if you decide to jump on 50mcg i really doubt your just gonna magically burn 67% more calories just because your taking 67% more than what you naturally produce that just sounds way too simple so whats the real deal? how many extra calories does it actually bump your metabolism by or is there even a real number for it because i cant find a straight answer anywhere and i dont want to just guess and end up losing all my gains for nothing lol

the reason guys say it eats muscle like a chainsaw is because they run like 100mcg+ without enough gear to protect themselves. if you keep it around 50mcg and keep your protein high and your test high you probably won't even notice a massive calorie burn but you will definitely feel flatter and lose that pop in your muscles. its not a magic pill where you can just eat pizza and get shredded it mostly just lets you get away with a few more carbs while dieting. definitely dont expect some crazy 67% boost or youll be disappointed as hell!

yeah people talk about t3 like it’s either totally useless or basically a muscle shredder from hell when reality is probably way less dramatic and way more annoying lol. your body isn’t some clean math equation where adding x mcg means y percent more fat loss cause conversion receptor response suppression and all kinds of other crap start changing too. it definitely can crank metabolism but not in some perfectly predictable “eat this many extra calories” way, which is why dudes get themselves in trouble treating it like a calculator instead of a hormone.

the scary stories are usually from people running it too high or not adjusting calories at all and expecting nothing to change

t3 is one of those things where everyone wants a clean “math answer” but the body never really works that way lol. it’s not just calories in calories out on paper, it’s everything speeding up at once so it feels way more chaotic than a simple % increase
