Is anyone still actually using Phendimetrazine for weight loss these days? I remember it used to be absolutely everywhere - especially around Tampa - and it really seemed to do the trick for people.

Nowadays, it feels like it’s just completely fallen off the map, and I hardly ever hear it mentioned anymore. I'm curious if there's a specific reason it’s not as popular as it used to be. Has everyone just moved on to the newer stuff, or is it just getting harder to find?

honestly man i think the glp-1 craze basically sucked all the oxygen out of the room for stuff like phendimetrazine. why take a stimulant that makes you jittery and only works for a few weeks when people are seeing massive results on tirz or reta? i remember those tampa clinics too lol- it was like the wild west of weight loss back then. but yeah it's definitely a schedule 3 drug so doctors are way more stingy with it now compared to the newer peptides that aren't stimulants.

i think the short-term thing is what killed it for most people. you can only stay on it for like 12 weeks before it stops working or you get too cracked out whereas you can stay on things like reta for a year. plus that "phendi" crash is absolutely no joke man- i remember feeling like a total zombie the second i stopped. everyone just moved on to the stuff that doesn't make your heart feel like it's gonna explode!

it is still around but man it feels like a "legacy" drug at this point lol. it's way cheaper than the new stuff if you don't have insurance but i think the side effects just scared a lot of people off. i used it back in the day and the dry mouth was so bad i felt like i was swallowing sand all day. i'll take the minor nausea from a glp over the phendi jitters any day of the week!

funny you mention tampa cuz that place was literally the capital of phendimetrazine clinics for a minute there. i think a lot of those places either got shut down or just switched over to selling semaglutide because that’s where the money is now. it definitely worked for a quick blast but for long term maintenance it’s just not practical compared to what we have now.

man that brings back memories lol. phendimetrazine was the king back in the day but honestly i think the glp-1 craze like ozempic and reta just killed it off. why take a pill that makes you jittery and wears off in 4 hours when you can just do a shot once a week and not think about food at all?

i used it a few years ago and the dry mouth was so bad i couldn't even talk lol. it worked for appetite but as soon as i stopped the hunger came back twice as hard. i think people moved on because the newer stuff actually helps fix the metabolic side of things instead of just masking the hunger with a buzz.

i think its just way harder to get prescribed now. docs are super weird about stimulants these days because of the heart stress and the "crash" afterward. plus tampa was like the wild west for weight loss clinics back then haha - they’ve definitely tightened the rules since those days.

its definitely still around but yeah its not the "it" drug anymore. its kinda like old school ephedrine - it works but it’s a bumpy ride. most people i know switched to tirzepatide or something similar because the results are just on another level compared to the old phen pills

lol i remember the tampa clinics! they used to hand those out like candy. i think it fell off because of the side effects honestly. sleeping on that stuff was impossible and the anxiety was no joke. definitely easier to find the newer peptides now if you’re looking for weight loss stuff that actually lasts.

for real man, i think the GLP-1 train just steamrolled all the old school stims. why deal with the heart racing and the 2pm crash from phendimetrazine when you can just pin some tirz once a week and be done with it? it’s definitely a relic of that 2000s era weight loss scene
