We always see info about the shelf life of oils - usually saying they're good for anywhere from 2 to 5 years depending on how much you're willing to risk it - but what's the deal with orals? I’d figure pills might actually last even longer since there isn't really any moisture trapped inside the tablet like there is with an oil.
I'm looking specifically at Tadalafil, Anavar, Nolvadex, and Enclo.
I've heard some people say you shouldn't touch Tadalafil once it's 2 or 3 years old, but is that a hard rule or just a "better safe than sorry" kind of thing? There’s a massive sale going on right now and I'm honestly thinking about stocking up on enough Anavar and Tadalafil to last me the next 6 or 7 years. Does anyone know if they'll still be potent by then?
that said, potency can still slowly drop over time especially if heat or humidity gets involved, and 6–7 years is where you’re kinda gambling a bit even if they still “work.” i’ve used older stuff before and it wasn’t like it stopped working completely, just felt slightly weaker maybe.
orals usually hold up way better than people think if they’re stored properly, but the “6–7 year stockpile” idea is where things get a bit more wishful than practical. most of them don’t suddenly turn useless at a set date, it’s more gradual loss of potency over time, heat and humidity being the real enemies. tadalafil and stuff like var or nolva are pretty stable, but you’re still relying on storage conditions being perfect for years which is rarely the case in real life.
yeah i’ve kept some orals way past what people say online and they were still doing their job when i used them later. i think most of the panic comes from people repeating rules without ever actually testing it themselves. still though i wouldn’t go crazy stockpiling for years just because you never really know how they were stored before you got them
oils always sketched me out more long term than tabs just because there’s more stuff in there that can break down over time
