hey guys just curious what kind of side effects you all actually noticed when making the jump from 500mg up to 1g of test. right now im sitting at 500 and everything is dialed in - sleep is solid my e2 is fine and blood pressure is totally in range too so things are looking good.
im just wondering what the main issues are that pop up when you double the dose like that? like do things just start falling apart or is it manageable if your already doing okay on 500. just
if 500 is already smooth i’d be kinda cautious about chasing more just for the sake of it cause that’s usually where the tradeoffs start stacking up faster than the benefits.
going from 500 to 1g usually doesn’t feel like “same thing but more gains”, it’s more like everything you already manage at 500 just gets louder. so if you’re dialed now, that’s good, but the stuff that tends to show up first is usually blood pressure creeping up, more water retention, sleep getting a bit lighter, and sometimes just feeling more “on edge” for no real extra performance payoff.
for me the jump wasnt like double the gains but it sure as hell felt like double the side management. way more water, way touchier e2, random bp creep, sweating like crazy and appetite got weird. if 500 feels clean that doesnt always mean 1g will too because sometimes thats where your body suddenly starts acting stupid for way less extra payoff than you’d think.

honestly 1g is where a lot of people find out real quick that “handling 500 fine” doesn’t automatically mean shit. for me acne ramped hard, BP started creeping, face got way puffier and the random sweating was ridiculous. gains were better yeah but nowhere near “double” better, mostly just more side juggling for a smaller return than I expected. sometimes 500 is that sweet spot and 1g is just ego with extra water weight.
