How low have you actually gotten your LDL-C without a PCSK9i?

I’m curious to see what kind of numbers you guys are hitting for LDL without touching a PCSK9 inhibitor.

Basically, if you aren't on Repatha or Praluent, what’s the absolute lowest you’ve managed to drop your levels? Whether it’s through a high-dose statin, adding Ezetimibe, or just getting super aggressive with your diet - I'd love to hear what's actually possible.

managed to get down to 52 with just 20mg Crestor and 10mg Zetia. honestly i was shocked cause my baseline was up in the 160s. the Zetia definitely did the heavy lifting for that last drop though

i'm sitting at 64 right now - no injections. basically just high dose Lipitor and being a total stickler about saturated fat. it's a grind but it works lol. i miss cheese though

got mine to 48!! my doc was hyped. that was 40mg Rosuvastatin + Ezetimibe + basically going vegan for 3 months. honestly not sure if i can sustain the diet part forever but the numbers dont lie - it's possible

i could only get to 85 on the highest statin dose i could handle. my body just makes the stuff i guess? ended up having to go the pcsk9 route anyway bc my genetics are stubborn af. cool to see some of you guys hitting the 50s without it though

lowest i ever hit was 72 with diet and 10mg generic crestor. i found that cutting out the "keto" style fats made a way bigger difference than the meds did alone. just my 2 cents

i managed to get mine down to 42 with 20mg rosuvastatin and 10mg ezetimibe. honestly the zetia (ezetimibe) was the game changer for me. before adding that i was stuck in the 70s even with the statin. i didnt really change my diet that much either so it was mostly just the meds doing the heavy lifting lol.

i got down to 55 just by being a total psycho about saturated fat. like literally zero red meat and no dairy for 3 months. it was miserable though so i just went back to a low dose statin because i actually want to enjoy my life haha. diet can only do so much if your genetics are working against you.

lowest i ever hit was 38! that was 40mg crestor and being super strict with fiber. i was taking like 10g of psyllium husk twice a day. it definitely works but man the bloating from all that fiber is no joke. if you can handle the stomach issues it definitely helps pull that extra ldl out.

tbh i think without a pcsk9 its hard to get into those "baby" levels under 30 or 40 unless you have god-tier genetics. i'm hovering around 75 with a clean diet and 5mg rosuva. ezetimibe is definitely the next step if i want to crush it but honestly 70s is plenty good for most of us unless you already have plaque issues.

im sitting at 64 right now on just 10mg atorvastatin. my doc wants me lower but i’m hesitant to bump the dose because of muscle soreness. have you tried citrus bergamot? i added that recently and it dropped me another 10 points without having to touch the "heavy" stuff.
