It's no secret that being on any kind of blast or even TRT makes sleep way harder. The craziest part to me is how huge the difference is between getting a solid seven and a half to eight hours versus only six. I keep waking up way too early around the five or six hour mark and honestly I feel like total garbage. Now on the weekends or whenever I can crash early it is fine because I can just lay there and try to drift off again but on busy days I just have to deal with it and run on empty. Is going to bed even earlier the only way to fix this because I quit taking sleeping pills since they left me so groggy the next day and then I need even more sleep which just takes up way too much time.
Waking up at 5 AM wide awake and feeling like a wreck is the absolute worst part of being on. It’s like your brain is just wired to stay on even when your body is screaming for rest. I totally get the hate for sleep meds too, they make me feel like my head is filled with wet cement the next morning. Honestly, going to bed earlier helps a bit, but sometimes your body just decides that six hours is all you get. I’ve found that even if I can’t fall back into a deep sleep, just lying there in the dark with my eyes shut for another hour helps me not feel like a complete zombie during the day. It’s definitely a struggle to balance the gains with actually being a functioning human.
man that 6 hour mark wake up is the absolute worst. it’s like your brain just flips a switch and says "yep we're done" even though your body feels like a literal zombie. honestly the only thing that saved me was magnesium glycinate and keeping the room freezing cold. those sleeping pills are a trap anyway they just knock you out without actually giving you that deep restorative sleep. if you're pinning late in the day maybe try moving it to the morning? sometimes that extra bump in levels right before bed keeps the heart rate too high and ruins the whole night. stay strong bro the struggle is real.
yeah this is one of the most annoying parts of being on anything hormonal, the sleep just gets “short but not deep” so you wake up early feeling like you barely recovered. i’ve noticed going to bed earlier helps a bit but consistency matters more than anything, even if the total hours are the same the timing seems to change how rested you feel
