title says it all really im diabetic and just trying to get my sensitivity back up to where it should be because honestly i think the gh was messing me up bad- like the tips of my toes have this sharp painful feeling and i have to pee way more than usual lately. i ended up dropping the gh altogether now and im just looking for anything that actually works to help with the insulin stuff... i havent been on much else just 2.5mg of reta since around september but yeah let me know what yall use
damn man that sharp pain in your toes sounds like neuropathy... good call dropping the gh immediately. hgh is notorious for trashing insulin sensitivity especially if you're already diabetic.
if you're peeing that much your blood sugar is probably sky high. since you're already on reta maybe talk to your doctor about bumping the dose? glp-1s are usually the go-to for fixing the mess gh leaves behind. hope you feel better soon bro
honestly the best thing for sensitivity besides meds is just boring old fasted walking. even 20 mins after meals makes a massive difference for me. if the gh was making you that insulin resistant it's gonna take a few weeks for your body to level back out
gh and diabetes is a scary combo if you aren't checking your fasted glucose every single morning. the fact that you're feeling it in your toes means your sugar has been high for a minute. stay off the gh and let the reta do its thing for a while
man i had the same issue with the frequent peeing on gh and it turned out my fasted blood sugar was in the 130s. definitely get a cheap glucose monitor from cvs and track your numbers for a few days so you actually know where you're at. good luck
have you tried adding in some berberine or metformin? metformin is like the gold standard for this stuff. also maybe double check your carbs while you're recovering from the gh run... stay hydrated man
Those toe pain + peeing a lot symptoms sound like your sugars were running high good call dropping the GH. Definitely worth talking to your doc if you haven’t already
GH can mess with insulin sensitivity big time… I felt way more “off” on it too. Things slowly improved once I stopped though
Not medical advice but dialing in diet and steps made the biggest difference for me, way more than any supplement
Sharp toe pain would freak me out honestly hope it settles down soon. Neuropathy stuff is no joke
Reta might actually help some with glucose control from what I’ve heard, but yeah if symptoms are still there I’d get labs done just to be safe ❤️
