Alright, I’ve got a bit of a random question for you guys. I recently ran into some veterinary grade EQ that’s 200mg—it says it's dosed at 1ml per 90kg of body weight. The brand is actually Pfizer, and looking at the label, it seems to use all the same carrier oils and solvents you'd see in the stuff meant for people.

So, what’s the real difference here between the vet grade stuff and your typical UGL or pharma grade gear? I keep seeing online that this specific compound was never officially approved for human use anyway, so is there even a distinction?

If it's the same ingredients and a big-name brand like Pfizer, is there something I'm missing or is it basically the same thing?

honestly man vet grade stuff is usually top tier if it’s actually legit pharma like pfizer. the only real difference is the labeling regulations and sometimes the needle gauge they expect you to use lol. if the carrier oil is the same then it’s basically just clean gear. better than most ugl stuff honestly since it’s made in an actual lab.

haha i remember the old days when everyone was hunting for vet grade stuff. the main thing is quality control- big pharma companies like pfizer aren't gonna risk their reputation with dirty batches even if it is for horses or cattle. just make sure the source is solid because there’s fake "vet" gear out there too.

Eq was originally made for horses anyway so "vet grade" is technically the original form. the only thing i'd watch for is the concentration. usually vet stuff is a bit lower mg per ml so you might end up pinning a lot of oil to get a decent dose. but yeah if its pfizer it’s probably way cleaner than the mystery oil from a basement lab.

id trust pfizer vet grade over a random ugl any day of the week. the ingredients are usually exactly the same because it’s cheaper for the company to use the same manufacturing process. just calculate your dose right- 1ml per 90kg is the horse dose so dont go following that part lol.

lol gear is gear at the end of the day. if it’s sealed and from a real pharma company it doesn't matter if there's a picture of a dog or a horse on the box. the molecules dont know they’re in a human body instead of a vet clinic. just keep an eye on the injection site for any weird reactions to the oil.

man i used to use vet grade stuff all the time back in the day and it was always fire. it’s usually filtered to a higher standard than your average ugl. only downside is sometimes it can be a bit "bitey" depending on the preservatives they use but overall you’ve probably got some high quality stuff there.

the "human grade" vs "vet grade" thing is mostly just legal red tape. since eq isn't prescribed to people legally the only "official" way to get it is through the vet route. if it’s legit pfizer you basically hit the jackpot for purity. just make sure you check the batch codes if you can because fakes are everywhere.

Big name or not, vet stuff is made for animals with totally different physiology. Doesn’t automatically mean it’s unsafe, just not held to the same human pharma standards.

From what I understand, vet grade just isn’t manufactured with humans in mind - dosing guidelines, sterility standards, etc can be different even if the ingredients look the same on paper.

Honestly the biggest difference is intended use + regulation. “Pfizer” sounds reassuring but if it’s for horses, it was made for horses

The mg/ml and carrier oil might be identical, but the quality control and testing for human contaminants is the real question. That’s the part you can’t see on the label.

EQ was originally a vet drug anyway so that’s why you see legit labels from animal companies. UGL vs vet is kinda pick your poison tbh 🤷‍♂️
