I've been pinning NAD+ subq for about two months now and everything was fine until this happened. At first, it looked like a really tough blister, but by the next morning, it had deflated. I ended up peeling the skin back - probably shouldn't have - and it showed this weird, solid white patch underneath. It seems to be healing up okay now, but I'm worried about it happening again or getting even worse next time.

My setup is 1000mg mixed into 5ml of bac water, and it’s fully dissolved with no crystals at all. I'm doing 0.5ml per shot and I always use a brand-new syringe and clean needles.

Has anyone dealt with this before or knows what went wrong? Should I post a photo so you guys can see what I'm talking about? I'd really like to know how to avoid this going forward.

damn that sounds gnarly as hell honestly. nad+ is notorious for being super acidic and it burns like a motherfucker even when everything goes right so it sounds like you basically gave yourself a chemical burn from the inside out. that white patch you saw was probably just necrotic tissue or the concentration was just too much for that one spot to handle.

definitely post the pic because i’ve gotta see what this looks like lol but if i were you i would stop going subq immediately and try switching to shallow im instead. some people just cant handle the acidity in the fat layer and it ends up causing that weird necrosis look. also maybe try diluting it even more because 200mg/ml is kind of a spicy concentration for something that already burns like a motherfucker. glad its healing up though but definitely dont go peeling any more skin off man that’s just asking for a nasty infection!

i’ve seen guys fix this just by lowering concentration, reducing shot volume, or switching sites, but honestly once your skin starts reacting like that it’s usually a sign to pause and reassess instead of pushing through it. if it were me i’d stop that site completely for a bit and only restart after it fully heals, otherwise it can turn into a repeating issue fast.

yeah NAD can be kinda spicy under the skin man especially at that concentration. i had a couple spots get weird like that too not full on blister but hard white patch and then it calmed down after a few days. splitting the dose smaller and rotating sites helped a lot for me, and honestly going a bit shallower slower made a difference too. if it starts looking angry again id prob back off that spot completely for a bit.

yeah i’ve seen a couple people mention weird skin reactions with NAD subq but that white patch thing sounds kinda sketchy honestly. even if everything is “dissolved” sometimes it’s still the local tissue reacting badly or just too much concentration in one spot. i’d definitely be cautious and maybe rotate sites more or take a break and see if it fully settles

1000mg in 5ml seems pretty strong tbh, maybe the concentration is just a bit rough on your skin?
