am i like the only one doing IM injections for my glp1 stuff?

i know it peaks way faster when you go into the muscle and the half life is probably a bit shorter too but man the results have been insane. i dropped like 17lbs just in that first month which is crazy. i am starting month 3 now and im just wondering if switching to subq actually makes that big of a difference or if i should just keep doing what im doing since its working so well. do you guys think im missing out on something by not doing the stomach shots or is the IM route actually better for weight loss? let me know what you guys think because i dont want to fix it if it isnt broken but i also dont want to be doing it wrong lol

not gonna lie that’s kinda wild lol, i’ve only ever done subq for glp1 stuff. the whole point is the slow steady release, so going IM might just be hitting you like a mini spike and then dropping off quicker, which could explain the big early drop.

nah you’re not the only one but it’s def not how most people run it. IM is probably giving you that hard hit up front which feels crazy effective, but these drugs kinda shine with that slow steady drip over time. you might be getting more swings than you realize.

nah you’re not the only one but most people stick to subq for a reason. those glp1 meds were kinda designed around slower release, so going IM might just be hitting you harder upfront and then dropping off quicker. that fast peak could explain the crazy weight drop but also why some people feel more sides doing it that way.

if IM is crushing it for you and sides are fine then cool, but i wouldn’t assume more dramatic = more optimal long term. sometimes smoother actually wins once the honeymoon phase chills out.

if you’re tolerating IM well and results are good, I get the “don’t fix it” mindset. just keep in mind if appetite starts getting a bit inconsistent or sides creep in, switching to subq might actually feel easier rather than less effective, not the other way around
