I started on 2mg of Reta about two weeks ago, and a few days after the first shot, I woke up with my arms itching like crazy. I tried deep cleaning my room and washing all my sheets, but it didn't help—the rash just kept spreading down my arms, into my armpits, and now it's even on my legs.

I saw some stuff online saying it might be the cheap reconstitution solution I got off Amazon, so I tossed that and the Reta vial. I've got some Hospira BAC water on the way to be safe.

To be honest though, I'm starting to think it's just the Reta itself. The hives are so bad I can't even sleep, which is a dealbreaker. I've been taking Allegra for a few days now, but it feels like the rash is actually getting worse. Luckily, I don't have a fever or any trouble breathing, so it's not a full-blown emergency, just super uncomfortable.

Does anyone know if Tirz is likely to cause the same reaction? I've had awesome results so far and I'd be gutted to quit entirely, but I definitely can't live with these hives.

That sounds miserable tbh hives that won’t let you sleep is next level torture. I’d prob stop too until you figure out what triggered it.

Allegra not touching it is kinda scary ngl… maybe your body just hates something in it. Sucks when the results are good but the sides are unbearable.

man that sounds miserable if it’s spreading and antihistamines aren’t helping I’d definitely pause everything

could be the compound, could be your body just saying nope — hard to ignore when it keeps getting worse

that sounds miserable I got hives from a peptide once and it kept spreading even after I stopped, took like a week plus antihistamines to calm down. I switched to tirz later and didn’t react at all, but allergies are weird so no guarantees unfortunately

That sounds like an absolute nightmare, man. Hives that spread like that are way beyond just a localized injection site reaction. Since you already swapped the BAC water and it’s still getting worse, it’s probably the Reta itself. Some guys just have a hyper-immune response to the specific peptide structure of Retatrutide, and once your body decides it’s an enemy, it’s going to attack every time you pin.

That sounds miserable honestly, hives that spread like that are no joke. I had something similar from a different peptide and it ended up being my body just not tolerating it at all, antihistamines barely touched it. If it’s still getting worse even after stopping I’d probably get checked just to be safe, sometimes reactions can hang around way longer than you expect 😕

yikes that sounds miserable I had a mild rash on Reta too, nothing as bad as yours, but switched to Tirz and it didn’t flare at all. still, allergies are tricky so maybe test super low first or talk to a doc before jumping in. sleep > gains every time
