im getting ready for marathon season and trying to decide whether tbol or anavar is the better move for a cycle thats going to be super cardio intense. ill basically just be running a cruise dose of test as a base and thats it. i really need something that wont kill my endurance so which one do you guys prefer for high volume running or cycling? id love to hear which one feels better when your actually out there pushing the miles- thanks for any advice!

id definitely go with tbol for high mileage. anavar is famous for "calf pumps" that will literally stop you in your tracks halfway through a long run...

honestly anavar might be better for pure speed but for a marathon you want the tbol. its what the east germans used for a reason- helps with the red blood cell count without the crazy tightness you get from var.

make sure your watching your hydration on either one though! orals can be hard on the kidneys when your sweating that much. i ran var for a half marathon once and my lower back was so cramped by mile 8 i had to walk- never again lol.

i’ve tried both for cycling and tbol was the clear winner for me. var made my quads seize up on climbs but on tbol i felt like i could just peddle forever at a steady heart rate. just keep the dose low so you dont get too heavy.

if you do go with anavar keep some taurine on hand! taking like 5g of taurine a day is the only way i survived the back pumps while running on it. but honestly tbol is just easier to manage for endurance.

are you worried about weight gain at all? tbol can make you hold a tiny bit more water than var which might be annoying for a marathon. if your dialled in on your diet it shouldn't be an issue but just something to think about.

man kurt havens actually did a video on this once... tbol is basically "endurance in a pill" for some guys. just start low like 20mg and see how your breathing feels. sometimes it makes my cardio feel "easy" if that makes sense?

stick to the test cruise as your base and you'll be golden. i’d say 20-30mg of tbol is the sweet spot for a runner. any higher and you might start getting too much muscle fullness which actually slows you down in the long run.

honestly var is better if you’re trying to stay as light as possible but the pump issue is real. if you’ve never had "back pumps" while running... count yourself lucky lol. tbol is much more forgiving for distance athletes.

i run marathons too and i found that 10mg of var was okay but 25mg was too much for the legs. tbol at 20mg felt way more natural for the endurance sessions. plus tbol doesn't mess with my lipids as bad as var does.

just a heads up- tbol can be a bit harder on the liver than var so keep that tudca or nac in the mix. marathon training is already stressful on the body so you gotta protect the internals.

tbol for the win man. its basically the "athlete's steroid." var is more for the beach body look imo. for pure performance on the road tbol takes it every time.

Honestly man, avoid the Anavar if you're doing high mileage. The back pumps and calf pumps are no joke—halfway through a long run you'll feel like your legs are gonna explode. Tbol is usually way better for endurance athletes because it doesn't dry out the joints as much.

tbol all the way for running. i tried var during a half marathon prep once and i had to stop every 2 miles just to stretch out my lower back. tbol gives u that steady work capacity without the crippling pumps. just keep an eye on your blood pressure
