I’m looking for some input on how to best set up a Retatrutide cycle. Right now, I’m sitting at 235 pounds and the goal is to drop about 25 pounds total. I’d really like to see at least three or four inches come off my waistline by the time I'm done.

My plan is to start with a 12-week run. I was thinking of staying at 2mg for a while and then slowly ramping the dose up-maybe hitting 3mg once I see how my body handles it. Does this sound like a solid approach to hit those goals, or should I be looking at a different dosing schedule? I'd appreciate any advice from guys who have already messed with this stuff.

honestly 2mg is a great place to start with reta. it is way more potent than semaglutide or tirzepatide because of that third glucagon receptor so you really want to ease into it. if you jump too high too fast your heart rate might get a bit jumpy. 12 weeks is a solid timeframe but don't be surprised if the weight starts falling off faster than you expected!

reta is a total game changer man. i started at 2mg as well and the hunger suppression was insane compared to anything else ive tried. just a heads up - make sure you are still hitting your protein goals because it is easy to forget to eat entirely on this stuff and you dont want to lose all your hard earned muscle while you drop those 25 pounds.

man i wish i could find some legit reta right now lol. your plan to stay at 2mg for a while is smart. dont rush the titration because once you hit that "sweet spot" where the weight is dropping you should just stay there as long as possible. if 2mg is working there is no real reason to even go to 3mg yet.

3-4 inches off the waist is totally doable with reta. it has that glucagon kick that really targets the belly fat. just watch your hydration because i noticed i got dehydrated way faster on this stuff. at 235 you should see some pretty dramatic changes in those first 12 weeks if your diet is even halfway decent.

the 2mg to 3mg ramp is perfect. i tried jumping straight to 4mg after a month and i felt like i had a permanent shot of espresso in my veins lol. it definitely increases your resting heart rate a bit so just be aware of that. but for fat loss? nothing touches reta right now. it's basically cheating.

235 to 210 is totally doable on reta man. honestly starting at 2mg is the smartest way to do it because the heart rate stuff can be a bit weird if you jump in too high. just listen to your body and dont rush the titration

reta is a beast compared to tirz or sema lol. i dropped 20lbs in like 10 weeks and i never even went above 4mg. just make sure your actually eating enough protein because the appetite suppression is next level and you dont want to lose all your muscle along with the fat

3 or 4 inches off the waist is a solid goal. 2mg is a good "get your feet wet" dose but be prepared for the internal heat - i felt like i was running a fever the first few weeks even though i wasnt. its just the glp/glucagon doing its thing i guess

id say stick to 2mg for at least 4 weeks before you even think about bumping it up. reta has a long half life so it builds up in your system more than you think. you might hit week 3 and suddenly realize you havent eaten in 2 days haha

honestly if your losing weight at 2mg there is no reason to move to 3mg yet. save the higher doses for when you hit a plateau. i stayed at 2mg for almost 2 months and it worked great for me

make sure your drinking tons of water and electrolytes. reta can make your heart rate jump a bit so if you feel like your racing just back off the dose or stay where your at for a while. it usually settles down after a week or two

12 weeks is a good timeframe for a first run. you'll definitely see the waistline shrink if your diet is halfway decent. just dont expect it to do all the work for you - you still gotta hit the gym so you dont end up "skinny fat" at 210 lbs

nice to see someone not trying to jump straight to 10mg lol. the side effects on reta can be nasty if you go too fast. slow and steady is definitely the way to go with this one. keep us updated on the progress!

i started at 230 and got down to 205 on a similar schedule. the best part about reta is the energy boost compared to semaglutide which just made me want to nap all day. you're gonna love the results man
