I’m currently running 1.25mg of Sema every week, but I'm only seeing about a pound of weight loss - sometimes even less. I started out at a medspa but recently made the switch to Skye, and now I’m looking into going direct to the source from China to save some cash. My inflammation is all over the place, which makes the scale bounce around like crazy, though the Sema has definitely helped a bit with that. I’m actually planning to run a 6-8 week cycle of BPC and TB-500 soon to see if that handles the inflammation better, maybe followed by some Thymosin Alpha 1.
The thing is, now that I’m looking at the lower pricing from China, Tirzepatide and Retatrutide are actually affordable options for me. Sema makes me feel absolutely exhausted, and the effectiveness seems to hit or miss depending on the week.
If you guys were in my shoes, which one would you switch to? I’ve done a ton of research on the pros and cons of each, but I’d love to hear from people who actually made the jump. What did you like about the switch, and was there anything you hated?
i was in almost the exact same spot and sema just made me feel like a zombie too. switched to tirz and it was way smoother for me, still killed appetite but didn’t have that “dragging through mud” feeling all day. weight loss was more steady too instead of those weird stall weeks.

since you are already dealing with inflammation those peptides like bpc and tb500 are going to be a game changer for your recovery but honestly tirzepatide has some solid anti inflammatory benefits on its own. reta is the big guns if you really want to torch fat but it can make your heart race a bit so if you’re sensitive to that maybe start with tirz first. if you go the china direct route just make sure you’re checking the third party tests because the savings are huge but you want to make sure you aren't pinning junk. personally i'd jump on the tirz train and never look back at sema!
yeah that “random week to week” thing on sema is exactly why a lot of people move on from it, some weeks you feel locked in and other weeks it’s like you didn’t even take anything
tirz is usually what people move to when sema feels rough, mainly because it tends to feel a bit smoother for appetite control and energy for a lot of users. reta is more “strong tool but still new and kinda unpredictable” depending on who you ask.
